A lack of long-term finance and technical advice and guidance are major obstacles to financial sustainability, social innovation and the development of social enterprises. The drop in government resources calls for new financing models for their development.
In recent years, new investment approaches such as impact investing and venture philanthropy have become increasingly important. These investment approaches aims for social impact in combination with varying degrees of financial performance, whilst using innovative mechanisms for funding, skill building, and impact measurement and management.
In this webinar, professor Lisa Hehenberger will discuss the evolution of impact investing in Europe, using data about this industry and explaining the latest global and local trends.
