ESADE Alumni international meetings are among the most highly anticipated events of the year for the entire ESADE alumni network. The venue chosen for the the 1st ESADE Alumni LatAm Forum is Peru, the city of Lima to be precise. You’ll have the chance to contact, connect and share with other alumni at our most emblematic international event of the year in Latin America!
The theme of this year’s meeting is innovation, hence the title of the event: ‘Innovation. The key to survival in a global business setting. On Saturday 21st April, we will be joined by Luis Vives, an expert speaker in innovation and strategy. We will also enjoy different discussion panels about Digital Transformation, C-level Challenges and Entrepreneurs and Family Business.

As if all this was not enough, this year’s forum will be followed by a networking dinner at Restaurante José Antonio (Calle Bernardo Monteagudo 200. San Isidro. 15076. Peru) for all of you who want to come.
Cost of dinner on Saturday: 140 PEN (€35) per person.

Dr. Luis Vives is the Associate Dean of The ESADE MBA, Director of the Multinational MBA and Associate Professor of Strategy and General Management at ESADE Business School. Dr. Vives joined ESADE in 2006 and has held various positions of responsibility within ESADE. Previous to joining ESADE, Dr. Vives was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and holds a PhD from IESE Business School, and Bachelor degrees in Business Administration, Piano Performance and Music Theory. He has been a visiting professor at different Universities in Europe and Latin America. As a lecturer and consultant, Dr. Vives has worked with multinational companies in the United States, Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East across different sectors: banking and insurance, telecommunications, wines and spirits, pharmaceuticals, creative industries, logistics and industrial groups, working for companies and organizations such as the FIA, Telefonica, Repsol, Sberbank, SIPG, Telekom Austria Group, or the Bayer Group, among others. His research focuses on the creation and development of innovative business models. His work has appeared in: Sloan Management Review, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Long Range Planning, Advances in International Management, Advances in Strategic Management, Academy of Management Perspectives, as well as in several books on international business. Doctor Vives advises companies in different industries and sits in different boards. He is also a member of the editorial board of three scientific journals, and is Consulting Editor of Harvard Deusto Business Review.
